🛠️ FIXED: App Freeze During Active Signal Monitoring
A rare but impactful issue has been resolved that could cause the app to become unresponsive while actively logging or monitoring your signal.
- App freezes during signal monitoring: In certain conditions — particularly on Samsung Galaxy devices running Android 16 — CellInfo could freeze briefly while updating the notification bar during active cell monitoring. This was caused by a notification update being triggered on the main UI thread, which could stall when the system was under load. The notification update is now handled in the background, keeping the app fully responsive at all times.
This fix was identified through automatic crash reporting. If you’ve noticed the app becoming unresponsive during signal monitoring, this update is for you.
