This Privacy Policy describes how the CellInfo Android application (“we”, “our”, “us”), developed by theBFGuk, handles your information when you use our services.

1. Information We Collect

We do not collect or store any personally identifiable information (PII) or app usage data on our own servers. However, the CellInfo app integrates third-party services provided by Google, namely AdMob (for advertising) and Firebase (for analytics, crash reporting, and performance monitoring).

2. Location Data

We do not collect, store, or transmit your precise geographic location data (e.g., GPS coordinates). However, our third-party service providers, such as Google AdMob, may infer your general location from your device’s IP address to provide relevant advertising.

3. Device and Cellular Network Identifiers

The app accesses cellular identifiers (CID, eNB ID, PCI, TAC, LAC, MCC, MNC) primarily for local display and analysis. We do not automatically transmit detailed cellular identifiers to our servers without your explicit action (such as a user-controlled export).

• No IMEI Access: We do not knowingly access or store IMEI numbers.
• Random Identifiers: We use randomly generated UUIDs rather than permanent device identifiers for analytics.

4. Third-Party Services

a) Google AdMob: Uses device information and the Google Advertising ID to deliver ads. You can opt-out via your Google Ads settings.

b) Google Firebase: Collects metadata and usage events for diagnostics. All data is handled according to Google’s privacy policy.

5. Legal Basis for Processing (GDPR)

For users in the EEA and UK, we process data based on your consent. You can withdraw consent at any time within the app or your device settings.

6. Your Privacy Rights

Under GDPR and CCPA, you have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data. To exercise these rights, contact us at the email address provided in Section 12.

7. Data Removal and Account Deletion

You may delete your account and associated data through the in-app “Delete Account” setting, via our online Account Deletion Page, or by emailing support.

8. Supporter Status (Coffee Count)

CellInfo maintains a non-personal aggregate “Coffee Supporter” count. This is not linked to personal identifiers stored by CellInfo.

9. Android Backup and Device Transfer

If Android Backup (Google One) is enabled, the OS may back up certain app preferences. This process is controlled by Android and your Google account settings, not by CellInfo.

10. Data Retention

We do not store personal data ourselves. Data collected by Google AdMob and Firebase is retained according to Google’s standard retention policies.

11. Security

We expect our third-party service providers to use appropriate security measures to protect the information they process.
