Release Notes: V0.12.10.000: Stable Signal Graph Upgrades and Power Mode Integration.

๐Ÿ“Š NEW: Interactive Signal Graph

The Signal Graph has had a major upgrade โ€” it’s now a proper diagnostic tool, not just a live chart.

  • Tap to Inspect: Tap any point on the graph to see the exact signal strength and cell ID at that moment. Scroll left and right to explore your signal history.
  • Tower Change Markers: Green diamond markers appear on the graph whenever your phone hands over to a new cell. Tap any marker to see the cell ID (eNB:CID for LTE, gNB:CID for 5G) in a tooltip.
  • Pause & Resume: Tapping the graph pauses live updates so you can inspect past data without it scrolling away. A “Resume” button brings you back to real-time.

โš™๏ธ NEW: Signal Graph & Dash View Settings

New options in Settings give you more control over how CellInfo displays your data.

  • Reset Graph on Tower Change: Choose whether the Signal Graph clears when you hand over to a new tower, or keeps your full signal history with vertical markers showing where each handover happened.
  • Dash View Customisation: Three new toggles let you tailor the Dash View โ€” Keep Screen On prevents dimming during drive tests, Show Tracker Stats displays unique cell and sample counts, and Show Dash Tab adds a dedicated tab for quick access.

๐Ÿ“ถ IMPROVED: Intelligent Roaming & Signal Isolation

Under-the-hood improvements for more accurate signal readings, especially on multi-SIM and roaming setups.

  • Registered PLMN Logic: CellInfo now uses advanced modem handshakes to identify exactly which tower you’re connected to, even when roaming on a partner network.
  • Honest Signal Bars: Updated thresholds and a -130dBm floor ensure your signal bars stay visible right up until the point of total disconnect โ€” reflecting real-world UK connectivity.

This update turns the Signal Graph into a proper diagnostic tool โ€” tap, pause, and inspect your signal history like never before.
