📶 NEW: Carrier Name on Signal Graph
Ever wondered which network you’re actually connected to while watching your signal? Now you can see it right on the Signal Graph tab.
- Real Network Name: Displays the actual carrier your phone is registered to — not just the SIM label. Perfect for MVNOs like Voxi, Giffgaff, or 1pMobile where the SIM name differs from the underlying network (Vodafone, O2, Three, etc.).
- Shared Network Visibility: On MOCN (shared mast) networks, see which operator you’re actually using. For example, if you’re on Three but connected to a shared Vodafone mast, the carrier name shows the network your phone is registered to — so you always know who’s providing your signal.
- Per-SIM Display: Each signal graph card shows its own carrier, so dual-SIM users can see both networks at once.
🏗️ NEW: Mast Name on Signal Graph
If you’ve been using the Mast Names feature to label your towers, those names now appear directly on the Signal Graph.
- Instant Tower Identification: See “Home Mast”, “Office Tower”, or whatever you’ve named it — right below the signal info line.
- Works with Mast Names: Requires the Mast Names feature to be enabled and towers to have been given a name.
⚙️ IMPROVED: Compact Signal Graph Layout
We’ve tightened up the Signal Graph cards to make better use of screen space, especially on smaller devices.
- Smaller Stats Text: The Current Signal, Strongest, and Weakest readings now use a more compact font size.
- Reduced Spacing: Less padding between elements means more room for the graph itself.
- Simplified Labels: “Strongest” and “Weakest” replace the old “Strongest (This Tower)” and “Weakest (This Tower)” labels — since the graph now preserves history across tower changes, the old wording was misleading.
⚙️ How to Enable
Both new display options are off by default. To turn them on:
- Go to the Settings tab
- Open Signal Graph Settings
- Toggle Show Carrier Name and/or Show Mast Name
Your choices are saved and included in backup/restore.
Thanks to James, who suggested showing the network name and tower identity on the Signal Graph — great idea that makes the tab even more useful.
