1. 📡 Accurate 5G SA vs 5G NSA Classification

  • Carrier Profile Fix: Resolved an issue where 5G Standalone (SA) connections on updated carrier profiles (such as Vodafone UK on Samsung OneUI 9 Beta / Galaxy S25) were incorrectly classified as 5G+ NSA.
  • Decoupled EN-DC Override: Corrected OVERRIDE_NETWORK_TYPE_NR_ADVANCED (5G+) handling so that high-frequency / 5G Advanced display overrides do not force an EN-DC (dual connectivity) flag. 5G+ icons are now accurately attributed to 5G+ SA on standalone NR cells and 5G+ NSA on non-standalone LTE anchor cells.
  • Android 17 / OneUI 9 Compatibility: Enhanced detectNrMode() with synthesised service state analysis for Android 15+, 16, and 17 (SDK 35+), guaranteeing reliable 5G SA detection even on non-public OS APIs.

  • Diagnostic Reports: Refined DiagnosticsReportEnhancer.kt to ensure 5G+ NSA connections report LTE anchor cell IDs (eNB:CID) while 5G+ SA connections report full 36-bit New Radio Cell IDs (NCI / gNB:CID).
  • 5G SA Lab & Event Logger: Updated detection triggers in Developer5GSASection.kt and CellInfoViewModel.kt to match 5G+ SA alongside 5G SA and NR SA.
  • Mast Manager & OpenCellID Sync: Ensured MastNameMapCard, MastNameListScreen, MastNameDetailScreen, and OpenCellIdSyncManager properly process 5G+ SA towers as 5G NR masts.
