This update polishes the Mast Names and 5G Standalone (SA) tools with clearer tower grouping, improved zone mapping, easier mast naming from 5G SA events, and cleaner export/report foundations.
🌟 What’s New in V1.02.03.000
1. 🗺️ Mast Names Zone Maps
- Multiple Sector / Zone Mapping: Mast detail maps can now plot recorded sector locations for the same mast, making it easier to see where each observed zone has been strongest.
- Clearer Map Labelling: Map cards now distinguish between a single tower location and a multi-zone tower map, helping users understand whether they are viewing one strongest point or several recorded sectors.
- Improved Map Export Naming Foundation: Map export labels and supporting strings have been tidied to better align with the rest of the app’s export behaviour.
2. 📡 5G SA Event Viewer Polish
- Grouped gNB View Improvements: 5G SA events grouped by gNB now show cleaner sector-level information, including compact CID details when the parent group already identifies the gNB.
- Reduced Duplicate-Looking Tower Details: Sector cards now focus on the useful difference between entries, helping repeated records for the same mast feel less cluttered.
- Better Mast Names Integration: 5G SA event detail screens now offer an easier route to add a matching Mast Name directly from captured tower data.
3. 🏷️ Mast Name Add Flow
- Add Mast Name from 5G SA Events: When a 5G SA tower is not already named, CellInfo can pre-fill the Mast Name entry with available MCC/MNC, gNB, NCI, band, TAC, PCI, signal, and location data.
- Save Confirmation: A clear confirmation message is shown after a Mast Name is saved from the 5G SA detail flow.
4. 🧾 Lab Mode & Export Consistency
- Lab Mode Version Notes: The in-app What’s New panel has been refreshed so users can quickly see the latest 5G SA and Mast Name improvements.
- Cleaner Export Wording: Map export wording has been tidied so saved map images feel more consistent with the rest of CellInfo’s report and sharing tools.
