We’ve done it.
CellInfo has officially surpassed 10,000 installs on different devices worldwide.
What started as a specialist mobile network information and signal-mapping project has continued to grow, and reaching 10,000+ different devices is a milestone we’re incredibly proud of.
Earlier this year, we were watching the numbers climb towards 5,000. Now, just a few months later, we’ve smashed through the 10K milestone.
From 5K to 10K
The growth of CellInfo throughout 2026 has been fantastic to watch.
Every new install represents another phone, another network environment and another opportunity to test CellInfo against the huge variety of devices, networks and radio configurations found around the world.
From 4G LTE and legacy mobile networks through to the continued expansion of 5G NSA and 5G Standalone, the mobile network landscape never stops changing — and neither does CellInfo.
Reaching 10,000+ installs on different devices gives us an even stronger foundation for continuing that development.
What 10,000+ Devices Means for CellInfo
This milestone isn’t simply about a number on Google Play.
It represents a growing real-world community using CellInfo across different devices, manufacturers, networks and countries.

More Than Just Signal Bars
CellInfo was built to provide far more information than the few signal bars displayed at the top of your phone.
Behind those bars is an enormous amount of radio and network information.
CellInfo helps expose that information, including technologies and measurements such as MCC, MNC, TAC/LAC, Cell ID, eNB/gNB information, PCI, bands, RSSI, RSRP, RSRQ, SINR, Timing Advance and neighbouring cells, alongside mapping and advanced network diagnostic tools.
As mobile networks continue their transition towards 5G Standalone, those tools are becoming even more interesting and useful.
